Manchester United will host The Hammers at Old Trafford in Matchday 34 of the Premier League as they hope to move back into the top four.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side is not in a good form in the recent weeks, after winning just one out of the last five games in all competitions. The Red Devils were outclassed by Barcelona in a 1-0 defeat at Old Trafford earlier this week. Before that, United lost their league game against Wolves as they moved to the sixth spot in the league table.

United will be without defenders Luke Shaw and Ashley Young as they both have been ruled out due to suspension. Luke Shaw is set to miss two games after receiving his tenth yellow card of the season against Wolves. Whereas, Young is suspended after receiving a red card in the previous league match.
Ole explained his defensive issue in the pre-match press conference saying:
“We don’t have full-backs this week. Not too many as we’ve lost Luke and Ashley through suspension. Antonio Valencia is still not fit. Maybe Matteo Darmian will be available for the bench and Marcos Rojo has been training for a while.”
The manager went to say:
“Rojo’s available and we’ve got Phil Jones, who could also play there. Rojo needed to get out on the big pitch in the Under-23s, against West Brom last Friday so he could have that game but we’ve had a couple of practice matches so let’s see what we decide.”
Midfielder Ander Herrera is still out due to injury and is heavily linked with PSG move this summer. Nemanja Matic is also doubtful to start after he missed the Champions League game against Barcelona. Alexis Sanchez was hoped to have recovered for the match against hammers but the manager says that it seems too soon for the Chilean to feature in the match.
Expected Manchester United Starting Line-Up
David De Gea;
Diogo Dalot, Victor Lindelof, Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo;
